We worked on the problem of accessibility for visually impaired people in education. We focused on how to make learning materials more inclusive by creating Spanish flashcards with Braille.
We wanted to explore how visually impaired students can study more easily using simple and accessible tools. Our goal was to design Spanish flashcards that include Braille to support inclusive learning.
We designed and created Spanish flashcards that include both printed text and Braille. We researched how Braille works and adapted the cards so they can be read by touch and used for studying vocabulary.
We found that adding Braille to flashcards makes learning more accessible and inclusive. The flashcards can help visually impaired students learn Spanish vocabulary more independently.
Our results show that small changes in educational design can improve accessibility. We learned that inclusive materials can support equal learning opportunities for all students.
We could improve the project by adding more vocabulary levels and different school subjects. We could also test the flashcards with users and improve them based on feedback.
We used information from online sources about Braille and accessible education materials.
