Our class toured Pilar, Asuncion for a couple of days and we started our project based off of what we saw and learned throughout the trip. Although our project is not based on a problem or question it was done for academically focussed reasons and was shown at the end of year expo.
Our soul intention was to create a project for the end of year expo. And as said earlier, although weren't focussed on trying to find or fix something were able to have personal growth. I, for example, never really liked doing group projects and preferred to work alone, but during this project I enjoyed working together and heard some ideas that I never would have thought of.
We did everything basically at once, but we started off by doing some research during and after our trip. Then, I began doing the electric model and helped M do the physical model. D created the Canva presentation using all the information we'd learned and V helped wherever she could.
We didn't test our project but, we did receive lots of positive feedback from classmates and teachers. Any improvements that had to be done to the project are shown below.
So, the physical model turned out basically flawless although at one point we added real leaves as the trees but those ended up dying so instead we made our own trees out of clay, fabric, and wire. As for the electronic model the first time I did it it basically fell apart do to some unsaved changes and some imperfections (it was a disaster). In the end I had to make another one and that is one you'll see in the files we attached.
We would distribute the jobs better so everyone works and even amount and with the physical model we might try to not use so much tape. Other than that I think our group did a pretty good job.
On one of the days when M wasn't here V helped a lot with making the roof to the physical model. I'd also like to thank the technology teacher for helping with the electronic model and the art teacher for providing all our materials.
