I made a project based of of the following question: Can I make a song without professional recording equipment?
I want to be a musician and I have instruments but don't own professional things to record because they are very expensive. I wanted to know if a lot of money must be spent to be able to record or if I can do it in an artisanal way.
I tried many ways. I tried recording every instrument separately and trying to put it togethet in canva but it was not a good app for sound. I tried recording listening to the bass track separately and I could not mix it even trying on a video editing free software. So I wrote the bass track and recorded it first with a phone, tha I played the drums while playing the first track loud with a speaker, than I used this second track and played the keyboard on top. So I didn''t mix the music using software, I did it using only my instruments, a speaker everyone has and a phone.
I found out I can record my own music. First I failed and then I realised that the simplest way was better. The data I used a score and music notation to write my song.
That everyone can make music if they have instruments and like to compose. Making music doesn't have to be expensive if you are willing to sacrifice some sound quality.
I would like to use more instruments and make my track longer and more complex.
thanks to my mom for holding the phone while I played
