2025 STEAM EXPO

PROJECT SUMMARY

We worked on making a water filter that took dirty contaminated water and turn it into clean drinkable water. This Idea took lots of research and effort to make it portable and electricity-free.

WHY?

We decided to take on this project because we decided as a group that the ability to drink clean water shouldent be a privilege, but a right given to all humans. We noticed that many other competitors were unreliable or needed electricity, something that the people in need may not have.

HOW?

To make the project we needed to brainstorm on how to make this design energy free and reliable. After to create the design on paper we wanted it to be more official so we turned our 2D model into a 3D model using Fusion 360.

WHAT?

We have not tested it yet, we are still testing and prototyping the design before risking our volunteers health. But we a very sure that in the near future we will be able to see our design out in the open.

SO WHAT?

Our results tell us that we can make a difference in the world by helping all of the people that need this type of technology. We can help our future with our product and results.

WHAT'S NEXT?

We could turn this product into a charity to help other people in need of clean drinking water. Using out product we could help lots of people by making it even more compact and easy to understand.
