I worked on math. I don’t really love math, but I know it can help a lot of first-grade teachers. My idea was to make something that turns math into a fun game.
I wanted to help teachers and kids learn math in a fun way. Some teachers don’t have a lot of time, so I made the game short but helpful. It has different levels with easy sums, so even little kids (especially 1st graders) can play. I hope you enjoy my beautiful game!
I made my project using SCRATCH. I already knew how to use Scratch before starting, and that helped me a lot. I used my creativity to get ideas and not waste time. My teachers also helped me when I didn’t know something.
Making this game took a lot of patience! Two times I lost all my work because the account closed. It was really frustrating, but I had time to start again and I even made my own Scratch account! So in the end, I gave it my time, my patience, and all my effort.
My project has two parts: the story and the game. From the story part, I learned that patience is really important, especially when things don’t go your way. And the game part teaches that math is important! It can help kids, adults, or anyone who is learning how to add or even learning how to add in English.
I think I might not make another game right away, unless I get a really great idea. But my brain is already thinking... maybe I’ll make a game like Minecraft someday!
I didn’t use anything or anyone else’s work. All the ideas came from my brain. But I want to thank my teachers for helping me with some parts I didn’t know.
