2025 STEAM EXPO

PROJECT SUMMARY

We worked on a robot. It’s called Milo. It can move forward and backwards. He loves to do races, he’s fast.

WHY?

We were trying to find out if we can win a race with a robot.

HOW?

We used Legos from the We Do kit. We followed a tutorial that showed us how to build it. We used one motor, and 2 wheels. We also used rubber bands to connect the wheels to the motor.

WHAT?

We found out that if we connect a motor to the hub of the car with a cable, it turns on and we can code it to move the wheels forward and backwards.

SO WHAT?

We learned that robots are important, even the Lego ones that people might not think they are. We also learned that it’s hard to make a robot, but you can follow instructions to make it easier.

WHAT'S NEXT?

We could add decorations to it, and we could make it bigger. Or else, we could make another robot so they can compete.
