Our project is an online app designed to help users maintain a healthy lifestyle. We especially thought of students from Colegio del Sol, aiming to improve training routines and habits for school athletes. The app includes personalized workout plans, food suggestions, and a group chat to support communication and motivation among users.
We were trying to improve the physical health of students at Colegio del Sol. Many young people today struggle with unhealthy habits and malnutrition. Our app provides a solution by offering useful tools for students and athletes to take better care of their bodies and routines.
We had the idea and then we started developing our app, but it didn´t work correctly so we had to start from scratch paying more attention to small details. In the end the app worked and we actually published it.
On our first try it didn´t work at all, but on the second try we organized the info on a Google Sheet and then linked it on the app creator Glide. Then we added images and different details that made the app better. What really helped was to have all the numbers on a single file so it could be betterr organized.
We created a fitness app called MundoFit that comes packed with features like nutrition information, workout plans, a chat function, and a rewards system. Along the way, we learned how to use Glide and Google Sheets to keep our data organized and keep users motivated. This experience really highlights how even simple tools can help us build powerful apps that encourage healthy habits. The app can support healthier habits among young athletes, especially in a school setting like Colegio del Sol.
We could improve MundoFit by adding progress tracking, personalized workout plans, and push notifications. Next time, we’d test more with real users to improve the design and usability. We’d also try adding video workouts and syncing with wearables like smartwatches. In the future, we’d like to test it with more students from Colegio del Sol and students from other school to refine its usability and real-world impact.
We used classmates idea from last year but definitely upgraded it to suit the needs of Colegio del Sol students. Special thanks to our teachers and classmates who give us feedback along the way.
