Our project focuses on raising awareness about the use of electric vapes, especially among teens. Last year, we worked on a prototype about this topic. This year, our group split and each team created a new idea based on the same issue. Our team decided to improve the website and start designing an app that supports people who want to stop vaping.
We see that many students think vaping is normal or not dangerous. But we know it can really affect your health. That’s why we wanted to create a space where people can learn more about the risks and find support to stop. We believe that talking about it in a friendly way can help more people.
First, we reviewed what we did last year and looked for ways to improve it. We redesigned the website using Canva and worked on the visual content. We also started designing an app using Figma and Glide, where users can get information and support to stop vaping. To stay organized, we created digital portfolios to document each step and show our progress throughout the project.
After showing our updated website and app idea to classmates, we got good feedback. Many said the information was clear and helpful.
showed us that people are interested in this topic and that our work made them think more about vaping. It’s important because if one person starts to question it, that’s already a big step. We also learned that small ideas can grow if you listen and improve them.
Next, we want to finish the app and add more features like a daily tracker. Our goal is to share the app with schools for more people can use it.
We used online articles and health videos to learn more about the risks of vaping. To design our website and app, we used tools like Canva, Figma, and Glide. We also want to thank our teacher who helped us stay organized, gave us ideas, and guided us through the whole process.
