PROJECT SUMMARY
We decided to mix arts and technology and created a cardboard puzzle using the laser cut machine and then hand-painted it creatively.
WHY?
We made this project because it was the perfect mix between arts and tech. We were also curious about the making process of puzzles using the laser cut machine.
HOW?
We used a software called inkscape to design our puzzle. Once we finished our prototype, we used a software caled K40 Whisperer to use the laser cut machine and cut our puzzle on cardboard.
WHAT?
We find out that using the laser cut machine could be very challenging since you have to find the perfect balance of speed and power to have clean cuts, especially when it comes to making a puzzle.
SO WHAT?
We think that you can really make interesting projects mixing two areas that you like.
WHAT'S NEXT?
We could improve our project using a different pattern for the puzzle, also for the next time we could add more pieces.
