Does differing heat change the rate of speed at which a chemical reaction occurs when baking?
We are planning to create a chemical reaction by baking an apple pie. We are doing it because it's a safe reaction and we get a sweet treat after. We are trying to figure out how diferent heats change the rate in wich a chemical reaction occures.
The first step we did was
1- Look up a recipy and article that will help us do the project
2-Gather the ingredients
3- Start the recipe
4-Take notes on things that might help answer the questions
Our results show that yes the temeprature did afect the speed in wich it bake. I leard that if i want something cook fater I should baked with a higher temperature, but if I want something cook slower but better I should cook it with a lower temp. We can understande that the temperature dose mather when baking.
I think that to improve my project I should try testing it with different ovens. I also think that if we try it with difente sweets our porject could be beter, becuase it would of give us a biger view.
In this project M help me because she did this with me, and also we recived help form Mr. Lipperer
