PROJECT SUMMARY

We made a remote controlled robot. We learned how to build a robot from scratch using the tetrix robotics kit.

WHY?

We wanted to learn more about robotics and build a robot for the first time. We also wanted to understand how you can control remotely a robot.

HOW?

First, we read the guides provided in our kit. We learned how to connect the pieces, how to use the engines, control, etc. Then we proceeded to make a sketch in paper and finally we built the robot.

WHAT?

Our robot worked successfully. Our robot is controlled remotely and can go in different directions since we made a racetrack with lots of curves.

SO WHAT?

We learned that each engine has a different function and it is important to connect them correctly or the robot won't move as you expect.

WHAT'S NEXT?

Our next step is improve our robot by adding more features and maybe a more challenging racetrack.

REFERENCES & ACKNOWLEDGMENTS

We got our information from the step by step guides of pitsco education. We also want to thank the maker lab for the help.

JUDGES FEEDBACK

It's evident that you've put a lot of effort into this project, and your perseverance has paid off! It's impressive how your robot worked successfully and can go in different directions on the racetrack you made with lots of curves. It's clear that you took the time and programmed your robot to navigate various challenges. As you continue to explore robotics, I encourage you to document your process and findings in a project journal or log. This will not only help you reflect on what you've already learned but you can also use it as a resource for future projects. Keep up the amazing work!
