2025 STEAM EXPO

PROJECT SUMMARY

For this project we decided to work with a problem that is quite common nowadays: the difficulty to socialize and make friends.

WHY?

We decided to work with this problem because it is one that is very present nowadays, so much that it is estimated that between 4.4% and 5.5% of adolescents in Paraguay suffer from it.

HOW?

After choosing the problem we started to think about what we could do to solve it and all the members of the team agreed that the best option was to make an app and that is how using the tools that teacher Claudia gave us we started creating our project.

WHAT?

Our app works in a similar way to apps like discord or instagram only being a safer place for everyone and all have different groups that vary depending on the interests and hobbies of the user.

SO WHAT?

Because of our project, we can better understand how hard it is for some young people to communicate this days and how we, as peers can help them to form new relationships and how easy it actually is to communicate.

WHAT'S NEXT?

To make out project better, we'd like to implement more fuctions to our app, such as: double-step verification in order to better protect the minors in the app, parental controls, and more fun and dynamic fuctions or maybe mini-games.
